completing vehicle checks and logbooksChecking manifests for delivery items and locationsSafe driving always in accordance with road laws and company policiesUsing trolleys and secure manual handling techniques for shop deliveriesScanning freight and completing Proof of Delivery requirementsManaging and collecting consignment paperwork and manifestsEnsuring freight is packaged, loaded and transported safelyStart times are typically between 5:00am – 7:00am, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings depending on delivery volumes.Ideal Candidate:Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freightStrong understanding of load restraint requirementsExperience with radio communications systems (preferred)Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to pass pre-employment checks (medical, background & D&A;)What's on offer for you:Rostered full time hoursA strong commitment to safe working environmentsSupportive consultants who genuinely careEarly starts = early finishes
