We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join a collegial team in Katoomba, NSW.As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages.
You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat various medical conditions, as well as provide preventive care and health education to patients.
Your role will also involve managing chronic diseases, conducting health screenings, and referring patients to specialists when necessary.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough medical assessments and examinations of patientsDiagnose and treat various medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnessesPrescribe medications and treatments as appropriateProvide preventive care and health education to patientsManage and monitor chronic diseases,



such as diabetes and hypertensionConduct health screenings and offer appropriate interventionsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patientsMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patientsRefer patients to specialists when necessaryParticipate in continuous education and training to stay updated on medical advancements and best practicesAdhere to all medical laws, regulations, and ethical standardsQualifications and Skills:Medical degree from an AMC accredited institutionCurrent registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain thisMinimum of 2 years of experience as a General PractitionerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong diagnostic and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionalsCommitment to providing high-quality and patient-centered careKnowledge of medical laws, regulations, and ethical standardsWillingness to participate in continuous education and trainingIf you are passionate about providing excellent medical care and making a positive impact in the community, we would love to hear from you.
