The Nurso is seeking a Retail Nursery Worker Heavy Goods to join our team on a casual basis.
This is an exciting chance to work in a fast-paced retail environment, based at our Chandler QLD location.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling and managing heavy goods within our nursery retail operation, ensuring our products are displayed effectively and accessible to customers.
This position is integral to maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of our store and delivering an excellent customer experience.Key responsibilitiesReceiving, unloading and organising heavy goods and stock deliveriesMoving and positioning large plant containers, bags of soil, mulch and other heavy nursery items throughout the storeMaintaining clear and organised display areas, ensuring heavy goods are safely and attractively presentedAssisting customers with loading and handling of heavy items at point of saleOperating relevant equipment such as trolleys, hand trucks and other material handling tools safely and efficientlyChecking stock levels and reporting on inventory needsMaintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocolsSupporting the broader retail team to ensure efficient store operationsWhat we're looking forPhysical capability to lift,



carry and move heavy items regularly (up to 20+ kg)Experience working in a retail or warehouse environment (preferred but not essential)Strong understanding of health and safety practices when handling heavy goodsAbility to work efficiently and independently as well as part of a teamGood organisational and time management skillsA friendly, customer-focused attitude and willingness to assist customersReliability and punctuality, with flexibility to adapt to casual shift patternsRelevant material handling or forklift certifications are advantageousWhat we offerThe Nurso is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive workplace.
