We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Sales Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis at the Taubman's Trade Centre in Wetherill Park.The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, with a desire to learn and develop in their career.
No previous paint or hardware knowledge is expected, as full product training will be provided on the job.The role will be 38 hours per week, with rostered hours inside the opening hours of 6.30am to 4.30pm, with the occasional Saturday shift between 7am – *****am.ResponsibilitiesProvide outstanding customer service and establish relationships with our customersCollaborate with the Store Manager, Store team & Trade team to improve sales potential within the storeTinting and mixing paint, pelletizing paint drums, arranging orders for delivery, and colour matchingDeliveries using the Store vehicle (where applicable)Merchandise and replenish stock promptly and ensure it is presented wellStore housekeeping and following the store's safety standardsManual Handling of paint tinsRequirementsPrevious retail assistant experience with the desire to provide excellent customer service to our growing customer base.
You won't be afraid to be hands‐on daily in the storeKeen to learn new skills and have an invested interest in building your expertise on our productsYou will have the flexibility to work on a 38‐hour roster between the hours of 6:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday shiftYou will be comfortable with manual handling as part of your normal day.
