This role is essential in supporting a safe, welcoming, and hygienic hospital environment, where your work has a direct impact on patient care, comfort, and experience every day.Salary range: $***** - $***** per hourplus superannuationplus casual loading andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doingIn this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and infection control standards across the hospital, including:Delivering high-quality cleaning services across patient wards, clinical, surgical, and emergency areasMaintaining best-practice hygiene and infection control standards, including high-touch point cleaningUsing cleaning equipment, chemicals, and PPE safely and in line with policies and proceduresResponding positively to changing priorities and supporting operational demandsCommunicating respectfully and compassionately with patients, families, and colleaguesContributing to a safe, organised, and professional hospital environmentThe opportunity to train in patient transport, linen and hygieneAbout youYou are a reliable and detail-focused team member who takes pride in contributing to patient safety and comfort, and you will bring:A strong commitment to customer service, cleanliness, infection control,
