Warehouse Assistant / Technician AssistantIndustrial Batteries Australia – Wetherill Park NSWIndustrial Batteries Australia Pty Ltd (IBA), an established leader in the Industrial Battery Industry servicing the Materials Handling, Industrial Equipment and Ground Support Equipment markets, supplying Batteries and Chargers for Electric Forklifts and electric powered Ground Support Equipment.We are currently looking for a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Assistant to join our Sydney based team, with immediate start currently available.This full-time position is based in our Wetherill Park, NSW Office and will play a crucial role in supporting the established Branch.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to develop new technical skills.
You'll initially work within our warehouse while also supporting our field service requirements once trained.The bulk of requirement will centre around completed product delivery and Technical assistance and Testing once trained.No battery experience is required — full training will be provided.What's On OfferStable full time role with an established growing CompanyMonday to Friday work (no weekend shifts)Training providedAbout the RoleThis position includes a mix of warehouse duties while in training while also supporting our Service Technicians with goods preparation and Technical back up, evolving into end user product delivery,



Battery installations and Removal and Technical support including product analysis.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with battery assemblyReceiving and loading deliveriesFitting DC and AC plugs onto forklift Batteries and ChargersQuality checking chargers before dispatch and uploading relevant information using a mobile App.Quality checking batteries before dispatch and uploading relevant information using a mobile App.Delivery of products where required using Company supplied MR Licenced VehiclesUploading job photos and documentation into our systemPreparing equipment for our on-road techniciansParticipating in stock takes / preparationGeneralised warehouse duties also requiredAbout YouWe're looking for someone who:Is reliable and takes pride in their workEnjoys hands‐on and practical workIs confortable communicating and conversing with Customers and clientsPresents in a professional mannerHas a general level of common sense and can problem solveIs comfortable using a smartphone or mobile appsIs physically fit and capable of manual workHas a positive attitude and willingness to learnPrevious experience in warehouse, labouring, trade assistant, or technician support roles is beneficial but not essential.
