Austruss Pty Ltd is seeking a Junior Estimator to join our growing team in Braemar, NSW.

As a Junior Estimator, you will play a vital role in the pre-construction phase of our projects, providing accurate cost analyses and supporting the estimation team in delivering competitive and profitable bids.
This role is instrumental in helping us secure new projects and maintain our reputation for excellence in the construction industry.This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in construction estimating.What you'll be doingReviewing project plans, specifications and tender documents to identify scope requirementsPreparing material, labour and equipment cost estimates for construction projectsGathering quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluating competitive pricingAssisting the senior estimator in the development of comprehensive bid/tender and submission proposalsLearning to take quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawingsMaintaining accurate estimation databases and documentation for future referenceLiaising with project managers, clients and suppliers to clarify project requirements and scopeConducting site visits when required to gather information and assess project conditionsSupporting the estimation team with administrative tasks and data entryContributing to continuous improvement in estimating processes and methodologiesWhat we're looking forA relevant qualification in construction, quantity surveying, estimating or related field, or equivalent industry experience in buildingStrong mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel,
