As a Cableway Attendant, you will be the welcoming face of Skyrail, ensuring guests experience the highest level of safety and service.
With comprehensive in-house training provided, you will have the chance to progress to Cableway Operator - responsible for the safe running and monitoring of the cableway operations.We offer part time opportunities (approx. 30 hours per week).
This role requires weekend and public holiday availability, with duties commencing at both our Smithfield and Kuranda stations.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver memorable and secure experiences for all Skyrail guestsFacilitate safe, effective, and friendly boarding and disembarkation at every stationEnsure all presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained to the highest levelCommunicate effectively with passengers, team members, and managementSupport operational continuity through inspection, reporting, cabin configuration, and assisting in emergency proceduresParticipate in ongoing training and upskilling, including mechanical, electronic, safety, and evacuation processesUphold and promote Skyrail's environmental and sustainability standardsWhat We're Looking ForCustomer Focus: Warm, enthusiastic,



and confident in delivering exceptional serviceAptitude to Learn: Quick to pick up mechanical and electronic systems, safety protocols, and operational proceduresAttention to Detail: Meticulous in upholding presentation standards and safety processesTeam Player: Positive, proactive, and supportive to colleagues and the wider businessLicences: Must have a current Driver Licence and reliable private transport for travel to Smithfield and KurandaPhysical Readiness: Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol testing.
