Salary $72,****** to $84,****** p/a + superWork from Home (WFH) options / Flexible Working ArrangementsNovated Lease options available for private use vehiclesFree onsite parkingAbout Ku-ring-gai CouncilKu-ring-gai is one of Sydney's most beautiful and environmentally rich areas, located just 16km north of the CBD.With a mix of vibrant town centres, leafy residential areas, heritage precincts, and natural bushland, we are a local government area committed to balancing growth with sustainability, character, and community values.About the roleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Records Officer to join our Governance and Corporate Strategy team.In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring Council's information and records are accurately captured, managed and accessible, supporting legislative compliance and the effective delivery of services across the organisation.Your duties will include, but are not limited to:Manage Council's incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate processingRegister and maintain records within Council's Electronic Document and Records Management System (Content Manager/EDRMS) in accordance with policies and legislative requirementsProvide records management support to staff, including record searches, system assistance and advice on recordkeeping practicesMaintain the integrity of Council's electronic and physical records through accurate data entry, quality assurance and file managementSupport records digitisation, archiving and storage activities,



including assisting with records management projects and compliance initiativesContribute to the continuous improvement of Council's records management practices while supporting the Governance and Corporate Strategy teamQualifications, Skills & ExperienceCertificate III in Records Management (or equivalent) with significant experience in records management or a related fieldExperience using Content Manager or a similar Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS)Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to maintaining accurate, high-quality recordsExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across the organisationA team-oriented and adaptable approach, with sound computer skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretionFlexible working arrangements, including working from home optionsOpportunity to purchase up to 2 weeks additional annual leave per calendar yearAccess to a wide range of development and training opportunitiesSupportive, collaborative and values-driven team cultureAccess to Fitness PassportAnnual Health & Fitness reimbursement of up to $100 (subject to eligibility)Novated Lease options available for private use vehiclesFree onsite parkingFree confidential Employee Assistance ProgramConvenient Ku-ring-gai location with beautiful natural surroundingsCloses: 11:30pm, Friday 7 August ****Ku-ring-gai Council is an equal opportunity employer
