MSS Security is seeking an experienced Security Control Room Operator to join our team at a prestigious Government facility located in Lucas Heights.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a professional control room environment where you'll play a critical role in the safety and security of the site.Working on a rotating 4 on / 4 off roster consisting of both day and night shifts, this role is suited to security professionals who thrive in a quick‐paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional security outcomes.As a Security Control Room Operator, you'll be responsible for monitoring and coordinating all security operations from the control room while supporting the wider security team across the site.
This role requires strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills,



and the ability to remain calm under pressure.What You'll Be DoingMonitoring CCTV, alarms and electronic access control systemsResponding to alarms, incidents and emergencies in accordance with site proceduresCoordinating security officers via radio communicationsMonitoring and controlling site accessMaintaining accurate incident reports, logs and security documentationLiaising with client representatives, emergency services and internal stakeholdersSupporting emergency response procedures and incident managementEnsuring compliance with Government security requirements and site proceduresWhat We're Looking ForEssentialCurrent NV1 Security Clearance - MUST havePrevious experience working in a Security Control RoomCurrent NSW Security LicenceCurrent First Aid CertificateExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong computer literacy and experience working across multiple security systemsAbility to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidaysHigh attention to detail with the ability to make sound decisions under pressureHighly RegardedExperience working within Government or Critical Infrastructure environmentsExperience using Gallagher, Genetec or similar security management systemsStrong incident management and emergency response experienceWhy Join MSS Security?
