This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a growing industry focused on the production of advanced therapeutic products.About the RoleWe are seeking an Upstream Bioprocess Scientist to join a manufacturing team on an initial 6-month assignment, with potential for extension.This site-based role will support upstream manufacturing activities, process monitoring, GMP documentation and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated production environment.A standout feature of this position is the roster.
Working a rotating 12-hour day shift roster (76 hours per fortnight), you'll enjoy frequent multi-day breaks throughout the month, with roster patterns that can include periods such as 3 days off, 2 days on,



and extended long weekends built into the cycle.About YouDegree qualified in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry or a related Life Sciences disciplinePractical experience within a GMP-regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing environmentExposure to upstream processing activities such as cell culture, bioreactor operations, media preparation, process monitoring or related manufacturing processesUnderstanding of GMP documentation and quality requirementsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety, quality and complianceEffective communicator who enjoys working closely with operations, quality and technical teamsWorking Holiday Visa holders with relevant upstream or biomanufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
