As we grow our service capability, we're looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our Melbourne team, specialising in Yawei fiber laser cutting systems.This is a field-based role — you'll be in office with our customers commissioning new equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance, and diagnosing and resolving breakdowns.
You'll be a key technical contact for our customers and a core part of our service team.What you're doingInstalling and commissioning Yawei fiber laser cutting systems at customer sitesDiagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical,



and software issues as they ariseCarrying out scheduled preventative maintenanceProviding remote and in office technical supportMaintaining service records and coordinating parts with suppliersWhat we're looking forWe're primarily looking for someone with fiber laser or CNC machine service experience — but if you have robust capital equipment or industrial machinery service experience and the technical fundamentals, we want to hear from you.Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fieldExperience servicing laser cutting, CNC, or industrial capital equipmentStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skillsFamiliarity with PLC/CNC control systemsValid Australian driver's licenceAble to work independently on customer sitesExperience with Yawei, Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic or similar laser platforms (NC/G-code or XML) is highly regardedWhat's on offer$100,000+ depending on experienceCompany vehicleOEM-backed Yawei training to build your expertiseGenuine long-term career development as the business growsStable, established business with a solid customer base
