Due to continued growth in our perishables division, we are seeking an experienced Perishables Warehouse Operator to join our Sydney team.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a rapid-paced environment and understands the importance of handling temperature-sensitive and time-critical freight with care and precision.About the RoleReporting to the Warehouse Manager,



you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of import and export perishables shipments within our Sydney warehouse facility.Key responsibilities include:Receiving, checking and processing perishable cargoLoading and unloading trucks and ULDsOperating forklifts and warehouse equipment safelyPalletising, wrapping and labelling freightConducting accurate stock and inventory checksMaintaining temperature-controlled storage requirementsCompleting warehouse documentation and scanning activitiesEnsuring compliance with aviation security, customs and quarantine requirementsAssisting with container unpacking and freight inspectionsMaintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environmentAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience in a perishables, airfreight or cold-chain warehouse environmentCurrent Forklift Licence (LF)Experience handling fresh produce, seafood, meat, flowers or other temperature-sensitive productsUnderstanding of chain-of-custody and temperature control requirementsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to lift and move freight safelyGood communication skills and a team-first attitudeFlexibility to work shift hours, weekends or overtime when requiredScreener accredited from the Department of Home AffairsAviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)Experience with CargoWise or warehouse scanning systems
