Menzies Aviation is open to candidates wishing to apply for either a Casual and/or Part Time role.Candidate requirementsCurrent Forklift license is requiredMotivation and flexibility to work on a 7-day rotational shift roster as per flight schedulesMust be reliable and motivated to work.Ability to work within a fast paced environment and ability to meet critical deadlines.Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.Strong client delivery focused.Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 32kg.Be fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.Well presented.Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.Must hold a current Drivers License.Perform duties which focus on 'hands-on' activities in areas which are directly and indirectly associated with freight handling, including receipt and dispatch, sort or breakdown of cargo to customer specifications.Possess Australian citizenship or permanent residency.Safety, Security and ComplianceCarry out all cargo related activities (as above but not limited to) as directed by the Company through its policies, procedures and training to ensure the success of the operation including the following:Remain up to date with all station notices relating to policies and proceduresRemain up to date with all relevant operational trainingMaintain a safe and secure working environment at all timesComply with the Company's open, fair and honest reporting cultureDiversityMenzies Aviation are a committed equal chance employer and encourage applications for suitably qualified and eligible applicants regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, pregnancy, and maternity.
