This is a 2 year Full Time Contract role based out of Goulbourn, servicing both Northern and South West NSW and the ACT.
What You'll Do
Visit residential properties to investigate (assess), review/validatescopes of works and quantify building damage, documenting clear,accuratefindings for each claim though a report.
Determinepractical repair methodologies and recommendcost‐effectivesolutions that balance quality,safetyand customer needs, negotiating fair outcomes with builders and suppliers, including quotes,tendersandtotal‐losssettlements whererequired.
Set clear expectations with customers with empathy and pace.
Monitor repair progress, validate quality at key stages, and resolve issues quickly in partnership with our supply chain.
Manage reserves and settlement practices responsibly to prevent cost escalation and deliver sustainable claim outcomes.
What You'll Bring
Practical building knowledge from a trade background or equivalent experience assessing residential damage.
Confident communication skills, able to translate technical details into simple, reassuring next steps.
Negotiation and influencing capability to align customers,buildersandsuppliers on the best outcome.
Sound judgment andproblem‐solving, makingtimelydecisions with incomplete information when needed.
Comfortable using digital tools for notes, photos,scopesand status updates while working independently.
Customer focus with resilience and empathy, including when supporting vulnerable customers.
A current driver's licence; relevant building or financial services qualifications are welcomed, notrequired.
