We are Australia's largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.The OpportunityAs a Control Room Operator, you'll be the operational hub of the site, monitoring plant performance, coordinating activities across the facility, and supporting the safe and efficient operation of our production processes.Key responsibilities include:Monitoring all plant and equipment operating across the siteCoordinating communication between the production floor, hardstand operations, maintenance teams and production managementRecording, tracking and reporting plant downtime and operational performanceidentifying operational issues and coordinating resources to minimise disruptionsWorking closely with maintenance teams to manage equipment breakdown's and plant stoppages, including contacting on call personnel when requiredSupporting the supervision and operations of the site in the absence of Supervisor or Production ManagerOverseeing vehicle movements to ensure safe and efficient site operationsMaintaining accurate operational records and ensuring compliance with site procedures and safety standardsAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is:A strong communicator who enjoys working with a variety of stakeholdersCalm under pressure and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environmentHighly organised with excellent attention to detailComfortable using computer-based monitoring and reporting systemsA natural problem solver who can think critically and prioritise effectivelyCommitted to safety, teamwork and continuous improvementExperience in a control room, manufacturing, operations, logistics, transport, waste management, recycling, water and wastewater, composting, processing plant or similar environment will be highly regarded.
