Business Resilience SpecialistLocation: Parramatta - HybridFull time hours, Monday – FridayASAP start - 6-Month Contract$700 per day + SuperTalent Connect are pleased to be partnering with a prominent State government department to hire an experienced Business Resilience Specialist.This is an exciting prospect to join a successful and collaborative team within a large and complex government environment.The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the implementation of an enterprise-wide Business Resilience Framework, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure resilience capabilities are embedded across business operations.Ideally, candidates will have experience within business continuity, emergency management, organisational resilience or risk management, with a strong understanding of resilience frameworks, incident management and stakeholder engagement within complex environments.The day to day:Coordinate the implementation and ongoing improvement of the enterprise-wide Business Resilience FrameworkPartner with operational and corporate stakeholders to identify and address resilience gaps, overlaps and risks across the businessCoordinate business impact assessments, threat and vulnerability assessments, and resilience risk management activitiesProvide specialist advice on organisational resilience, emerging threats and business continuity best practiceDevelop and maintain business continuity plans, hazard plans and resilience documentationDeliver business resilience training, awareness initiatives and capability-building programs across the organisationCoordinate resilience testing,



simulation exercises and assurance activities to validate business continuity arrangementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with emergency services, government agencies and key external stakeholdersSupport incident, emergency and crisis management activities, including providing technical advice during major eventsCoordinate recovery arrangements, emergency facilities and resilience resources to ensure organisational preparednessWork closely with Digital teams to support disaster recovery and business continuity outcomesContribute to executive reporting, governance activities and continuous improvement initiatives relating to organisational resilienceTo be successful you will need:A minimum of 2+ years' experience in Business Resilience, Business Continuity, Emergency Management or a related disciplineExperience implementing or supporting enterprise resilience or business continuity frameworks within a large or complex organisationStrong knowledge of business continuity planning, emergency management and organisational resilience principlesExcellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skillsOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business functionsStrong analytical, problem-solving and risk assessment capabilitiesExperience delivering resilience training, exercises or awareness programs is highly regardedThe ability to remain calm and provide support during incidents and emergency situationsRelevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional certifications in Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Risk or a related field will be highly regarded
