Lakeview Private Hospital Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and energetic Pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis three days per week.
Based in Norwest, NSW ****, this role offers a wonderful opportunity to provide quality pharmaceutical care to our diverse community of patients whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
As part of a multi Pharmacist team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, whilst contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our patients.
This position is integral to maintaining the high standards of care and service excellence that Lakeview Private Pharmacy is known for.What you'll be doingCompleting Clinical Ward Rounds to accurately access patients requirementsDispensing medications accurately and safely, ensuring all prescriptions are verified and prepared according to legal requirements and best practice standardsProviding expert pharmaceutical advice to patients regarding medication use, potential side effects, interactions and storageConducting thorough patient consultations to understand medical histories, current medications and health concernsMaintaining comprehensive and accurate patient medication recordsCollaborating with doctors and healthcare professionals to optimise patient medication regimensManaging inventory, ordering stock and ensuring the pharmacy is well-stocked with medications and health productsPerforming quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with therapeutic goods administration (TGA) regulationsProviding health promotion and disease prevention advice to patientsStaying current with pharmaceutical developments, new medications and clinical practice guidelinesSupporting the pharmacy team and contributing to a professional, welcoming environmentWhat we're looking forTertiary qualification in Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent) from an accredited institutionCurrent registration with AHPRA and in good standingProven experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital,



community or retail pharmacy settingStrong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, interactions, contraindications and clinical applicationsExcellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to patientsProficiency with pharmacy management software and computer systems (FRED)Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and adherence to professional codes of conductStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficientlyAttention to detail and accuracy in all pharmaceutical workAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentCurrent knowledge of PBS (Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme) requirements and compliancePreferred experience with medication therapy management or health screening programsWhat we offerAt Lakeview Private Pharmacy, we value our staff and are committed to creating a supportive and rewarding workplace.
