Kids on 4th Early learning centre and Kindergarten – Palm Beach QLDKids on 4th Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our dedicated team in Palm Beach, QLD.
This is a part-time position, 5 days a week that offers a unique opportunity to lead educational programming and mentor fellow educators in a supportive, dynamic early learning environment.
As a Lead Educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of young children whilst fostering a collaborative and inclusive community.
This role sits above the award level and offers remuneration that reflects your expertise and leadership capabilities.Key responsibilitiesPlan, implement and evaluate high-quality educational programs that promote children's learning, development and wellbeing across all areas of the Early Years Learning FrameworkLead and mentor educators within your designated room or program area, providing guidance on best practice and supporting professional developmentConduct observations and assessments of children's progress, documenting learning journeys and communicating developmental milestones to familiesFoster positive relationships with children, families and staff, creating a welcoming and inclusive workplace that celebrates diversityImplement behaviour guidance strategies that promote children's emotional regulation and social competenceMaintain a safe,



clean and stimulating learning environment that meets legislative and duty of care requirementsCollaborate with the leadership team to support the development and implementation of centre policies and proceduresParticipate in ongoing professional development and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesAct as a point of contact for families and respond to enquiries or concerns with professionalism and empathyWhat we're looking forA recognised Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent)Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for Queensland or willingness to obtain oneCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationDemonstrated experience working in early learning or childcare settings for a minimum of 3-5 yearsProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and support team membersStrong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and current best practice in early childhood educationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleaguesKnowledge of child safeguarding and duty of care obligations in early learning environmentsProblem-solving abilities and flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of children and familiesA genuine passion for supporting children's development and creating positive early learning experiencesPreferred:
