This is a national role where you'll support the day-to-day execution of purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, systems, and preferred supplier arrangements.You'll play a key role in managing purchase orders, resolving vendor and invoice issues, and supporting the business as it transitions to a more mature procurement model.
Working closely with site stakeholders, suppliers, and the broader purchasing team, you'll help drive consistency, process improvement, and robust governance across the organisation.This role is suited to someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and keen to develop their capability in procurement within a collaborative, close-knit team.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pmKey responsibilitiesManage purchasing activities in line with company policies, procedures, and approval levelsRaise and validate purchase orders,



ensuring accuracy and timely turnaroundMonitor and resolve invoice and system discrepancies (GRIR, blocked and parked invoices)Liaise with vendors and Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing, claim, and invoice issuesEnsure preferred supplier agreements are utilised and support procurement optimisation initiativesPartner with internal stakeholders to provide purchasing support and drive process complianceBuild and maintain effective supplier and stakeholder relationshipsSupport procurement governance and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesProvide basic guidance and training to staff on purchasing systems and processesWhat you bring to the roleExperience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar operational roleSAP knowledge with strong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working within policies, processes, and compliance frameworksStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve vendor and invoice issuesEffective communicator with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholdersProactive and organised, able to manage competing prioritiesA team player who is keen to learn and develop within a growing procurement functionWhat we offerWe strive to support your professional and personal growth.
