This role is essential in ensuring nutritious, well-presented meals that meet the diverse needs of Residents in our care.The positions are permanent, full time with a minimum of 38 hours a week with guaranteed minimum earnings (inclusive of allowances and penalties) no less than $79,499 per annum plus superannuation.Key ResponsibilitiesTake direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen teamPlan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residentsAssist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock controlPurchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as requiredEnsure all food is prepared, cooked,



and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standardsAbout YouCertificate III in Commercial Cookery or higherA minimum of one year's experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred)Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable)Experience preparing texture-modified meals (advantageous)Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleaguesAbout this location:Sandbrook, a 109 bed residential aged care facility located in Burleigh Waters.
