In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical cleaning services and maintenance of cleaning equipment and machinery owned by BIC Consolidated across our many worksites.Vacancies: 4 (2 cleaners for ACT and 2 Cleaners for NSW)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PMWork Location: ACT & NSW Regional AreasYou will be responsible for these key areas:Working closely with the wider Operations teams, you will be responsible for planning repairs, maintenance needs and checks.These duties include, but are not limited to:Use of machineryHard/Soft Floor Maintenance,
including scrubbing and buffingWindow CleaningSteam cleaning of soft furnishings and upholsteryCarpet cleaning and spot treatmentPressure washing of external surfaces and building facadesEmergency after-hours jobs as neededBiohazard cleaning and water extraction responseAssist with staff training on the use of machines as neededEnsure compliance with all OH&S; and chemical handling regulationsMaintain accurate service records and follow safety proceduresQualifications & experienceA minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a Cleaning Technician is requiredHands-on experience with cleaning machinery such as Floor scrubbers, Steam cleaners, Pressure washers and Carpet extractorsStrong focus on creating and maintaining a safe working environmentExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.Ability to work independently and manage multiple sitesRequirements:You must have full work rights within AustraliaAbility to use a smartphone for work-related tasks.A mechanical tertiary qualification would be beneficialA current Police Check and full Driver's LicenceWillingness and ability to travel to various client sites as required.Must have experience in the Cleaning IndustryBenefits and CultureSupportive and inclusive culture;A professional and safe working environmentGood employee benefits and entitlements.BIC Consolidated is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders to apply.
