In this role, you will support the day-to-day execution of purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, systems, and preferred supplier arrangements.This role is integral in managing purchase orders, resolving vendor and invoice issues, and supporting the business.
You will work closely with key stakeholders, suppliers, and the broader team, helping drive consistency, process improvement, and strong governance across the organisation.This role is suited to someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and keen to bring their purchasing experience within a collaborative, close-knit team.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.Key responsibilities:Manage purchasing activities in line with company policies, procedures, and approval levelsRaise and validate purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaroundMonitor and resolve invoice and system discrepanciesLiaise with vendors and Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing, claim,



and invoice issuesEnsure preferred supplier agreements are utilised and support procurement optimisation initiativesPartner with internal stakeholders to provide purchasing support and drive process complianceBuild and maintain effective supplier and stakeholder relationshipsWhat you bring to the role:Experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar operational roleIntermediate to Advanced ExcelStrong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working within policies, processes, and compliance frameworksStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve vendor and invoice issuesEffective communicator with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholdersProactive and organised, able to manage competing prioritiesA team player who is keen to learn and develop within a growing procurement functionThis is an excellent prospect to bring your purchasing experience to a 100% Australian owned organisation.
