Superior Care Group – Wellington Point QLDCasual and PPT opportunities currently exist for enthusiastic and experienced Night Duty Registered Nurses to join our team.Wellington Park is a 94 bed up-to-date, yet well-established Aged Care Service, offering high-quality levels of accommodation and privacy.The Registered Nurse, in consultation with the Head of Care, Clinical Nurses and the multidisciplinary team, provides nursing leadership of the facility.
The RN works collaboratively with all levels of management, clinicians, carers, residents, families, support staff and relevant community agencies to facilitate an effective resident focused service.The Registered Nurse will prioritise their own work within established policies, guidelines and procedures and are responsible for work performed with a substantial level of accountability and responsibility.
Registered Nurses will oversee a team of Enrolled Nurses and AIN's throughout their shifts, providing support and guidance and ensuring a high level of care is provided to our residents.Clinical assessment and care planning skillsStrong working knowledge of continuous improvement and the Aged Care Quality StandardsCurrent Practicing Registration with AHPRA.Aged care experience is essentialMinimum 12 months experience as an RN preferredDementia qualifications and experience will be highly regardedExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with a "Can do " attitudeKnowledge of AN-ACCHigh level of computer literacy including use of clinical softwareCurrent national police certificateMust be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visaMust be living in QueenslandTasks Include:assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients according to accepted nursing practice and standardsworking in consultation with other Health Professionals and members of health teams, and coordinating the care of patientsproviding interventions, treatments and therapies such as medications, and monitoring responses to treatment and care planpromoting health and assisting in preventing ill health by participating in health education and other health promotion activitiesanswering questions and providing information to patients and families about treatment and caresupervising and coordinating the work of Enrolled Nurses and other health care workersWhat Wellington Park Private Care can offer youMeal provisions supplied for meal breaks - bread, spreads, assorted salad items, fresh fruit bowls, tea/ coffee, chilled water, cordials, and flavored milksWork in a supported and fun learning environmentOpportunity to enhance and grow your skillsOpportunity to work with experienced professionals, Nursing, Allied Health
