We are expanding and looking for a reliable, hands on assembly worker to join our team in Smeaton Grange.About the roleWe are seeking a motivated, hard-working all-rounder to join our manufacturing team.
This position involves a variety of tasks manufacturing and assembling mixers and plate heat exchangers, with an emphasis on quality across all products.
With a range of tasks being undertaken, this role offers the opportunity to expand your skills and experience within the manufacturing sector.The role will include:Assembly of parts and equipment for mixers and gasketed plate heat exchangersRunning tests on assembled products according to drawings and job specificationsQuality assurance and cross-checking assembled products against job drawings; reporting non-conformancesIncoming goods checks and stock controlPackaging orders to send out to customersUse of hand and power toolsMaintaining a secure and clean environmentManual handling and liftingTransportation of goods across the site via forkliftTo be successful you will need:Hard-working, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and growAll-rounder and team player personalityPunctuality and reliabilityAbility to work well to schedule and to meet deadlinesExcellent attention to detail and a focus on quality in your workAbility to review and follow product drawings, templates and assembly instructionsLogical thinking and good problem solving skillsSafety conscious attitudePossess a consistent work historyForklift licence requiredJob HoursMonday to Thursday – 7:00am–3:30pmFriday – 6:00am –12pmOvertime opportunities available.Applicants must be permanent residents, be able to communicate in English, possess relevant experience for the position, and be able to provide references.Please note only sucessful applicants will be contacted.
