An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Finance Officer to join a well-established business within the construction industry on a 3-month contract.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the finance team with high-volume finance processing during a busy period.
This is a fully office-based role located on Brisbane's northside, with parking available on site.
The Role
This 3-month contract will suit an immediately available or soon-to-be available Finance Officer who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on workplace.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Process a high volume of supplier invoices using a manual finance processMatch purchase orders, invoices and delivery docketsCode invoices accurately and allocate costs to the correct accountsProcess supplier credits and investigate invoice discrepanciesReconcile supplier statements and resolve outstanding queriesLiaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding payment enquiriesMaintain accurate supplier records within ProntoAssist with filing,



document management and general finance administrationSupport the finance team with backlog clearance and ad hoc administrative tasksEnsure invoices are processed accurately and within required timeframes
About You
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience as a Finance OfficerExperience processing high volumes of invoices manuallyExperience using Pronto is highly regardedStrong attention to detail with excellent organisational skillsAbility to prioritise workloads and meet deadlinesConfident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholdersIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsAvailable to commence at short notice
