Salary up to $150,000 + SuperLead facilities, maintenance and WHS across a critical healthcare manufacturing siteAutonomous leadership role with ownership of site operations, contractors and complianceJoin a reliable, growing organisation supporting the healthcare sectorHigh-visibility role with genuine opportunity to make an impactAbout the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to take ownership of the maintenance, facilities and safety operations for a busy manufacturing facility based in Frenchs Forest.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety and compliance of site infrastructure, including buildings, plant, essential services and contractor operations.
You will play a key role in supporting production continuity while driving improvements across maintenance, safety and site services.Experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP environment is highly regarded, however candidates from manufacturing, FMCG, food production, medical devices, logistics, industrial or other regulated environments are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesLead preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the siteManage building services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systemsCoordinate contractors, maintenance programs,



site upgrades and capital worksEnsure critical infrastructure and essential services remain operationalOwn the site's WHS function, driving compliance with legislation and company standardsLead safety initiatives including audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvementDeliver safety training, contractor inductions and toolbox talksManage site services including security, cleaning, waste and pest controlOversee maintenance budgets, supplier relationships and contractor performanceSupport business continuity through effective facilities and infrastructure managementAbout You You will have:Proven experience managing facilities, maintenance or site operations within a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong contractor management and maintenance planning experienceKnowledge of building services and essential infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, mechanical or plumbing)Sound understanding of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirementsExperience leading safety programs, audits and incident investigationsRelevant qualifications in facilities management, engineering, trade or WHS (highly regarded)Experience working in a regulated environment (advantageous)Current driver's licence and the ability to support occasional after-hours site requirements when needed
