About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 7‐Eleven retail store.
In this role, you will lead and support the retail team, drive sales performance, manage inventory, maintain high merchandising standards, and deliver exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and organisational skills, a customer‐focused approach, and the ability to achieve sales and operational targets in a fast‐paced retail environment.
Previous experience in convenience retail, supermarkets, fuel retail, or a similar retail environment will be highly regarded.
Work Requirement:This role requires on‐site presence in the Sydney Based Store at least 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.
Oversee the day‐to‐day operations of the 7‐Eleven store, ensuring productive, compliant, and profitable performance.
Drive sales growth by monitoring store performance, setting sales targets, and implementing strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manage inventory levels, stock ordering, receiving, stocktaking, and replenishment to ensure product availability and minimise stock losses.
Monitor stock rotation and ensure compliance with product quality, food safety, and expiry date requirements.
Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, pricing accuracy, store presentation, and cleanliness in accordance with 7‐Eleven standards.
Manage cash handling procedures, daily reconciliations, banking, and other financial transactions in line with company policies.
Prepare staff rosters and allocate labour resources effectively to meet operational and customer service requirements.
Recruit, train, supervise, coach, and develop team members to foster a positive, productive, and high‐performing workplace culture.
Monitor sales performance,



customer trends, and local market conditions to identify opportunities for business growth.
Plan and implement in‐store promotions and marketing initiatives to increase sales and customer engagement.
Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and ensure the timely receipt of store deliveries.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and escalated issues professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, food safety standards, company policies, and all relevant retail regulations.
Maintain accurate records relating to inventory, sales performance, cash management, staff scheduling, and store operations.
Identify operational risks and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency, minimise losses, and enhance overall store performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business profitability.
Education
Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum one year's experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar retail management role.
Industry Background
Previous experience in convenience retail, supermarkets, fuel retail, grocery, or other high‐volume retail environments is highly regarded.
Compliance Knowledge
Familiarity with workplace health and safety requirements, retail compliance, and cash handling procedures is an advantage.
Language Skills




Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency in Urdu and Punjabi is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, point‐of‐sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and retail reporting systems.

Competitive salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per year
