We are seeking a motivated and hands‐on Maintenance Fitter to join our clients maintenance team within a busy food manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of plant, equipment, and facilities through preventative maintenance, repairs, fault finding, and general maintenance activities.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance skilled, or someone looking to bring their mechanical skills into a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out preventative, routine, and reactive maintenance on production equipment and plantAssist with troubleshooting, fault finding, and repairs to minimise equipment downtimeSupport installation, upgrades, and improvements to machinery and facilitiesComplete general mechanical maintenance tasks and support daily maintenance activitiesMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with workplace proceduresSupport food safety, hygiene, and site compliance requirementsWork collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliabilityMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard
About You:
Mechanical trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience preferredExperience in maintenance, manufacturing, industrial,



or similar environments is advantageousStrong mechanical aptitude and problem‐solving skillsAbility to diagnose issues and complete repairs safely and efficientlyGood communication skills and a positive, team‐focused attitudeWillingness to learn and develop skills within a maintenance environmentAbility to follow safety procedures and workplace requirementsFlexible approach and willingness to support the wider teamAbility to successfully complete a drug and alcohol screening and police check as part of the recruitment process
