Port Hunter Conveyors Pty Ltd – Mayfield West NSWPHC Group are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Field Fitter to join our team, responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining and repairing conveyor systems on client's sites, both in the Mining and Construction Industries across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.
This role offers the chance to work alongside and become part of a great team in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Assemble and install conveyor systems according to specificationsPerform routine maintenance and inspections and timely repairsEnsure adherence to safety protocols and maintain accurate maintenance recordsQualifications:Certificate III (Certificate of Proficiency) in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitter)Additional licences or certificates for Dogging, Rigging, EWP, TRG Hot Work, Working at Heights,



Confine Space and WHS Construction card would be an advantageThe ability to pass a Order 45 Medical essentialRequirements:Mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Conveyor Pulleys, Bearings, Gearboxes and Belt Cleaner experienceWillingness to travel within Newcastle and the Hunter Valley regions and work onsite as requiredAvailability for flexible hours and overtimeValid driver's licence and Trade Fitter CertificateProven experience in conveyor systems maintenance preferred, but not essentialStrong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with toolsAbility to interpret technical drawings and work independently and in a teamJoin a leading company with growth opportunitiesCompetitive hourly ratePaid Travel4 Day week, optionalOvertime opportunities
