Youth Access Worker - headspace TuggeranongThis is a fixed-term part-time position ******** hours per week) until 30 June ****, with the potential for extension subject to ongoing funding.You will assess the mental health and psychosocial support needs of young people referred to headspace and in conjunction with the team, provide early intervention counselling and support services.

or other related qualifications or demonstrated experience in a similar role.Demonstrated understanding of the health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems including an ability to engage and communicate effectively with young people.Demonstrated ability to undertake assessment and screening of young people and their families to determine care needs and assist to access necessary services.Experience in providing counselling services to young people.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including the ability to deliver small group activities.About headspaceheadspace provides support to young people aged ***** experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues.
