Position: Part-Time Pharmacy AssistantsLocation: Deception Bay Discount Drug StoreDeception Bay Discount Drug Store is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our Webster Packing Team.Working alongside our Webster Packing Manager and pharmacists, you will help prepare and maintain medication packs for our patients.
This is an important behind-the-scenes role that requires strong attention to detail, positive organisation and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.Key responsibilities include:Assisting with in-house sachet medication packingAssisting with flat-pack Webster packingDeblistering medication stock in preparation for packingRotating stock and monitoring expiry datesMaintaining accurate and organised stock levelsKeeping the packing area clean,
organised and compliantFollowing pharmacy procedures and pharmacist directionsSupporting the Webster team to meet daily workflow and packing deadlinesThe ideal candidate will:Have excellent attention to detail and accuracyBe reliable, organised and able to follow set proceduresWork well in a busy, team-based environmentBe comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistent accuracyUnderstand the importance of patient confidentialityHave previous pharmacy, Webster packing or medication-packing experience, although training can be provided to the right applicantThis is a part-time position based at Deception Bay Discount Drug Store.
The successful applicant will become part of a supportive team and play an important role in helping us provide safe and reliable medication-packing services to our patients.
