Competitive hourly rate of $55 per hourDay shift 6:00am - 2:00pmWell Established manufacturing facility with modern equipmentSecure permanent position with a growing businessOngoing training and career development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team environmentThe RoleAs a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment and site services.Your responsibilities will include:Performing preventative and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipmentDiagnosing and repairing faults on industrial electrical systems and machineryTroubleshooting motors, drives, PLCs,
sensors and control systemsResponding promptly to breakdowns to minimise production downtimeConducting inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standardsAssisting with equipment upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projectsMaintaining accurate maintenance records and documentationWorking closely with production teams to maximise equipment reliability and efficiencyEnsuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site proceduresAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:Current Drivers LicenceCurrent QLD Electrical LicencePrevious experience within pharmaceutical, packaging or manufacturing environments would be an advantage but not essentialStrong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilitiesExperience working with PLC-controlled machinery, motors, drives and industrial control systemsStrong commitment to workplace health and safetyAbility to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
