This role holds primary accountability for major gifts, planned giving, the Centenary philanthropic programme and the management of the School's donor relationships, also overseeing the Alumni Engagement Manager and Archivist.The Advancement Manager is required to engage with major donors, bequest prospects and Foundation Board members across the full donor cycle: discovery, cultivation, ask, management and renewal.
The Manager develops the School's case for philanthropic support, leads campaign sequencing through to the centenary in **** and beyond.
Ensuring the School's heritage, alumni community and philanthropic programme operate as a coherent and aligned function.About YouDemonstrated senior-level experience in advancement, philanthropy or fundraising in an independent school, university or major not-for-profit contextProven track record of personally cultivating, soliciting and closing five-and six-figure (or larger) gifts, with credible evidence of donor relationship management at the major-gift levelExperience leading a team and developing direct reports, with the credibility and presence to hold a multi-function team to a high standardSophisticated relational intelligence and the personal authority to engage with donors,
