Key Responsibilities
Perform high‑quality garden and grounds maintenance, including pruning, weeding, and lawn care.
Plant and nurture flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the village’s beauty.
Conduct regular garden inspections to identify and resolve issues.
Maintain irrigation systems for productive water use.
Apply fertilizers and pesticides safely to promote plant health.
Ensure gardening tools and equipment are kept in excellent condition.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to uphold the overall appearance of the village.
Engage with residents to understand their gardening preferences and incorporate feedback.
Adhere to workplace safety policies and contribute to a positive work setting.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in garden maintenance, particularly in retirement villages or aged‑care settings, is highly desirable.
A valid NSW driver’s licence.
Horticulture training and/or experience is an advantage.
A solid work ethic, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
