Permanent Part Time – 36 hours (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) – open to job sharing across 2‑part timers.

A global healthcare leader, Bupa is committed to providing connected, personal, and human‑centric care. As a Dental Assistant, you will support secure clinical care, ensuring equipment and supplies meet infection control standards and maintaining organized treatment rooms.

Responsibilities
Provide chair‑side assistance to dental professionals, including suction, instrument passing, mixing techniques, assisting with x‑ray procedures, and knowledge of instrumentation.
Clean and prepare the treatment room, dental instruments, and equipment in accordance with infection control standards and BDC procedures.
Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies, and procedures to ensure high‑quality, protected services and workplace.
Assist with the management of appointment schedules, including booking, cancellation, rebooking, and confirming appointments as required.

Qualifications




Ideally 6 months’ experience as a Dental Assistant in Australia.
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded.
Knowledge of infection control standards and BDC procedures.
Ability to work with a medium level of accountability or discretion.
