Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships is seeking a motivated Apprentice Parts Interpreter to join our host employer based in Smithfield, NSW.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to build a long-term career in the heavy vehicle industry.
You'll earn while you learn, complete a nationally recognised qualification, and gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled industry professionals in a supportive workshop environment.
The Role
As an Apprentice Parts Interpreter, you will learn how to identify, source, and manage parts for heavy vehicles, transmissions, and related components while supporting day-to-day workshop operations.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll develop valuable technical knowledge and customer service skills while gaining exposure to a wide range of trucks, machinery, and mechanical systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with identifying and ordering parts for heavy vehicles and transmission systems
Learning parts catalogues, systems, and inventory processes
Supporting workshop operations and technicians
Developing strong product knowledge and industry skills
Providing professional customer service and support
