About the role
Eureka Furniture is seeking a Casual Warehouse Labourer to join our dynamic team in Townsville.
This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehousing environment.
You will be integral to our warehouse operations, supporting the movement, storage and distribution of furniture products.
This role is based in office at our Orange facility, where you will contribute to maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfilment.
What you'll be doing
Loading, unloading and organising furniture and products within the warehouse
Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer specifications
Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock taking activities
Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe in accordance with health and safety standards
Assisting with the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation
Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines
Following all company policies, procedures and safety protocols
What we're looking for
Must have current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly
Experienced in the assembly and placement of furniture, you would be positive with your hands and think outside the box to solve problems onsite.
A good work ethic
Some basic handyman skills helpful in the occasional repair
Willing to lift furniture and assist with unloading trucks, organising furniture deliveries.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Reliability and punctuality, particularly important for casual work
Commitment to health and safety practices
Flexibility to work various shifts as required
