About Amberley Health Centre
RAAF Base Amberley, the largest Air Force Base in Australia and approximately 50 minutes from Brisbane city.
It provides operational and maintenance support for the precision strike element of the Air Combat Group, F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft.
Supports the strategic lift capability for the Australian military's KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), C-17 Globemaster III heavy lift aircraft and C-27J Spartan battlefield airlifters.
The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to over **** RAAF members.




The standard operating hours of the centre are generally ********* Monday – Thursday (depending on role requirements), and a half day (5.5 hours) Friday.
This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
After-hours, weekend and on-call shifts may be required depending on role requirements and base location.
What You'll Do
Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
Occupational Medicine setting, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount
What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
Minimum two years' GP experience in the last five years in a GP Setting (GPT counts)
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
