We are a non-smoking facility.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity is available to join South Pacific Private as a Group Therapist – Psychologist, Counsellor, Psychotherapist in a part time capacity.We are recruiting for a Part time 'Changes 1' Group Therapist to join our dynamic Therapy team.
This is a permanent part time role working one,



5 day week per month as part of a four week cycle.Facilitate daily trauma-informed group therapy for clients presenting with addictive processes and co-occurring mental health issuesProvide comprehensive and professional trauma-informed case management to a delegated case-load of inpatient clientsSupport a positive treatment experience for all clients by role modelling functional adult behaviour.Extensive training will be provided for suitable applicantEssential CriteriaMinimum of Bachelor's Degree in Psychology / Counselling or Graduate Diploma in Counselling / PsychotherapyMinimum of 2 years' relevant work experience including group therapy facilitationRegistered with an appropriate Counselling/Psychotherapy/Psychology bodyExperience working with clients who have experienced developmental trauma and who are living with addiction, mental health or relational concernsExperience in trauma-informed practice and deliveryExcellent communication skillsIndependent worker with a team focusNSW National Police Check (willing to obtain one)CPR CertificateDesirable CriteriaCSAT trained/working towards12 Step knowledge and/or lived experienceWhat We OfferA genuine opportunity to collaborate and work with a multi-disciplinary teamAccess ongoing professional development in mental health and trauma carePractice in a purpose-driven organisation with real impactEnjoy a stunning beachside location (Curl Curl, Northern Beaches)Free onsite parking, wellbeing support and Employee Assistance Program
