re-pack,stackand label)Checking and counting/weighing stock on arrival and noting down details and print out all required labels to meet customerspecificationCheck stock quality is acceptable for customer orders and communicate any issues to high care feed roomsupervisorRelocate stock to a protected holding area ready for despatch (cool room, in warehouse racking or despatch area)Keep packaging areas tidy andsafeWhen high care is notoperatingon anyparticular days, you willbe requiredtoassistwith the packing lines & forklift duties in LowriskYou will be responsible forkeeping the outside pallet areas tidy andsafeIf during your daily duties you notice product thatdoesn'tmeet the correct labelling requirement (a date code, GRNlabel, grower traceability) notify the stock management team and rectify theproblemBe vigilant of open cool room doors, high cool room temperatures, path obstructionetc.Ensure that product quality is alwaysoptimisedRemoving all packaging and raw material waste to waste areaTake responsibility for the maintenance and cleanliness of the forkliftoperatedthatdayEnsure all forkliftsare returnedto battery area and charged ifpossibleOther ad hoc tasks, asrequiredComputer Knowledge/skills are desirableAbility to work within cold storageenvironmentsKnowledge of warehousing environmentsYou will be a great communicator, both verbal and written, confident with meeting new peopleAssertive,proactive, and enthusiastic about your work.A willingness to learn, develop, work towardsgoalsDemonstrateinitiative beyond set tasks is critical to the success of the role
