As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, socialsupportand dailyassistanceto residents within their Aveo home.
Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building socialconnectionandassistingwith day-to-day tasks.
This is a permanent part time role working the following Roster:
Week 1: Monday (2:30pm - 7pm) and Thursday (2:30pm-7pm)
Week 2: Monday (2:30pm - 7pm); Thursday (2:30pm-7pm) and Saturday Split Shift (7am - 1pm) followed by (3:30pm-7pm)
Your Impact
Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (egriding them to appointments or light exercise)
Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
Complete easy administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
Follow all Aveo OH&S; policies and procedures and report any safety,securityand resident incidents
Whatyou'llbring
Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for community care,independenceand wellbeing
Friendly,adaptableand proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment
Strong communicationskills, with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents
Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
Valid driver's licence + vehicle (required)
Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)

$*****/hr including casual loading+ superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
