Priceline Pharmacy Westridge is seeking a Delivery Driver/Storeperson to join our team on a part-time basis in Toowoomba, QLD ****.
This is a dual-responsibility role that combines delivery operations with store duties, playing a vital part in ensuring our customers receive their pharmaceutical and health products promptly and our store operates efficiently.
You will be instrumental in maintaining our service standards whilst supporting the day-to-day operations of our retail pharmacy environment.
Key responsibilities
Operating delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to transport pharmaceutical products and retail items to customers throughout the Toowoomba area
Planning optimal delivery routes to maximise efficiency and ensure timely product delivery to customers
Maintaining detailed records of deliveries, including customer signatures, delivery times and any items not delivered
Receiving, unpacking and verifying incoming stock deliveries against purchase orders and invoices
Organising and maintaining the storage area to ensure stock is properly shelved, rotated and easily accessible
Conducting regular stock counts and reconciling inventory to ensure accuracy
Performing general store maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organisation of the stockroom and delivery areas
Assisting with product placement on shelves and maintaining visual merchandising standards
Supporting the pharmacy team by ensuring adequate stock availability on the shop floor
Following all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of pharmaceutical products and hazardous materials
Communicating effectively with customers during deliveries, providing a professional and courteous service
What we're looking for
A valid driver's licence and clean driving record essential for this role
Experience working in a retail, warehouse or stockroom workplace
Physical fitness and capability to lift and carry products safely, including heavier items
Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple deliveries and stockroom tasks
Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with customers during deliveries
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of health and safety procedures, particularly in handling pharmaceutical products
Proficiency in basic computer systems for recording deliveries and managing inventory
Flexibility to work part-time hours, which may include occasional early starts or late finishes
A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider pharmacy team
