To find out more about our organisation visit OverviewAs a Control Room Operator within a large-scale retail environment, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and monitoring daily site operations.
You will be responsible for managing communications, monitoring systems and alarms, responding to incidents, and supporting the effective delivery of security services across the internal and external security environment of the site.This role requires strong situational awareness, ability to multi-task and prioritise work flows, clear communication skills, and the ability to make timely decisions, sometimes under pressure, to ensure operational continuity, safety, and service excellence at all times.Positions available: Full-timePotential earnings / Award Level 4Shifts: Weekday | DayRoster: Available for Tuesday to Wednesday - 09:00AM-5:30PM, Thursday and Friday -9:00 AM to 9:00 PMKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor site CCTV system and site activity to maintain safety,



security, and compliance standards.Coordinate security teams across a large retail asset to ensure seamless service delivery.Respond to alarms, incidents, and service requests in real time, applying appropriate escalation proceduresMaintain accurate operational logs, incident reports, and system recordsLiaise with site supervisor, clients, contractors, and emergency services as requiredEnsure strict adherence to operational procedures, policies, and safety protocolsSupport rostering, shift coverage, and workforce coordination to maintain optimal staffing levels and continuity of serviceQualifications & RequirementsPrevious experience in a large retail control room environment highly desirable, or in a similar operational environment such as Universities or a monitoring centre.Strong communication (written and oral) and multitasking skillsExperienced with large scale CCTV, radio, and dispatch systemsAbility to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to incidentsComputer literacy and report writing skillsAbility to do shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidaysSecurity license 1A required, however a 1E highly desirable.Why Join Millennium?
