This role is critical to supporting our road infrastructure projects through protected, productive and high-quality operation of profiling machinery.This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a high-performing team, operating specialised equipment and contributing to the successful delivery of asphalt and pavement works.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate profiling machinery safely and efficiently across various projectsWork collaboratively with surfacing crews to achieve program targetsEnsure all work is completed in line with project specifications and quality standardsConduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance of equipmentSupport crew activities as required to maintain productivityFollow all safety procedures and actively contribute to Downer's Zero Harm cultureMaintain clear communication with supervisors and team members on siteWhat You'll BringDemonstrated experience operating heavy machineryExperience operating a Profiler (preferred)Experience operating a Shuttle Buggy (highly regarded)Current HR Licence (highly regarded)Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card)Strong commitment to safety and Zero Harm principlesAbility to work effectively in a team environmentReliable, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and developDowner is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
