Organisation and IT Project Management exp essentialCampbell Property Group (CPG), one of Australia's leading residential construction and property development companies, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at our Norwest Head Office on initially a 12 month+ maternity leave roleAs the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, high-value initiatives aligned to our organisational strategy.Your role will be pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, time, cost, quality, risk and benefit tolerances, while maintaining strong governance, stakeholder engagement and alignment to recognised project management best practices utilising multiple delivery approaches.What you will do?
Ensuring adherence to enterprise methodologies and processesProvide input to develop and improve such methodologies and processes to meet best practice and ensure regulatory and legal compliance of all work on the projectDefine the scope to ensure outcomes and expected benefits are clearly articulated and that agreed work is aligned to the strategyTranslate business needs into a clear and measurable program of work which is aligned to the broader strategyInfluence and gain agreement of scope from stakeholdersChallenge and influence the sponsor and or stakeholders as required to enable the achievement of project deliverables and benefitsImplement mitigation strategies and elevate as requiredMaintain transparency of delivery risksLead end-to-end delivery across the full project lifecycle (initiate, plan, deliver, close).
Define and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resourcesMonitor and report to the Sponsor/Steering Committee/Board on status of financials, risks,
issues and progress towards milestones and deliverablesWork with the business to deliver cost estimates for submissions for funding approvalManage partner/vendor costs related to delivery to improve cost predictability and ensure the project delivers within agreed costEngage, inform, influence and negotiate with all stakeholders to ensure involvement and commitment throughout the projectFacilitate workshops and governance forumsManage stakeholder expectations and resolve issuesAct as a day-to-day contact point with partners and vendors to deliver solutions for the projectDeveloping and maintaining a resource planEstablishing clear delegated authority, accountabilities and performance management structuresAbout you?
We are looking for someone with:The commitment to complete a 12 month maternity leave assignment with a possible extensionDemonstrated experience delivering complex organisational and IT projects or programs within a large, complex multi-site business.
Construction Industry would be highly desirableExperience operating within formal governance frameworks and reporting to executive or board level stakeholdersExperience managing risks, issues and dependencies in complex delivery environmentsExperience working with cross functional teams including business, technology and external vendorsExperience delivering measurable business outcomes and benefitsStrong knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile or equivalent)Understanding of technology environments including systems, integrations, data flows and digital solutions and their interaction with operationsUnderstanding of financial management,
budgeting and business case development.Knowledge of organisational change management principlesStrong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and guide teamsHighly organised with solid attention to detail and ability to manage competing prioritiesProactive and outcomes focused with a strong sense of accountabilityResilient and adaptable in complex and changing environmentsStrong problem solving and critical thinking capabilityCollaborative approach with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels.What's on offer?
