The Role
Join a energetic Acute and General Medicine service with exposure to a diverse and rewarding case mix.
Responsibilities
Daily consultant-led ward roundsAssessment and management of acute medical admissionsProviding clinical guidance for Emergency Department referralsParticipation in multidisciplinary team meetingsSupervision and support of junior medical staff and traineesDelivery of education and teaching activitiesAttendance at HOT (Hospital Outreach Treatment) clinicsContributing to patient flow and discharge planning initiatives
You will be supported by
Resident Medical OfficersEmergency Department RegistrarsMultidisciplinary allied health teamsExperienced nursing staff
Roster
Monday to Friday
7:30am – 4:00pm




No mandatory on-call requirements.
Optional weekend on-call cover may be available by discussion and mutual agreement.
