About This Role
On behalf of our client, a Global Energy Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Procurement Governance Lead, to play a pivotal role in shaping Procurement Governance, ESG Compliance and Sustainability outcomes across a complex and evolving business.
This will be a contract role up to March ****, located in the Adelaide CBD, open to residential candidates, offering an excellent day rate!
Responsibilities
Maintain Procurement ESG compliance frameworks and reporting requirements
Support procurement reporting and governance activities
Review and implement procurement policies and procedures
Drive sustainability, ESG and Modern Slavery initiatives
Support Indigenous participation and Supplier diversity programs
Integrate ESG criteria into procurement processes
Support procurement risk management and governance strategies
Deliver ESG and governance training to procurement stakeholders
Manage external memberships, including Supply Nation
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification in Sustainability, Political Science, Law, Business or similar
Previous experience in procurement or ESG-focused roles
Strong knowledge of procurement compliance and governance frameworks
Excellent project management, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
Advanced MS Excel and business reporting capability
Strong communication and presentation skills
A passion for ESG and sustainability
Indigenous participation initiatives experience is desirable
Cross-functional project delivery
Enterprise data systems and complex reporting environments
