We're looking for experienced Youth Workers to provide safe, consistent, trauma-informed support to young people in a residential setting.What you'll be doing:Providing day-to-day support to young people in a residential settingDelivering trauma-informed, person-centred support in line with individual care plansSupporting daily routines, education engagement, and community participationManaging behaviours of concern using trauma-informed, de-escalation-based approachesWorking rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and sleepoversMaintaining accurate case notes, incident reports,
and shift handoversWorking collaboratively with the broader care teamWhat you'll need (essential):Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check), or eligibility to obtain oneCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationCurrent driver's licence and reliable vehicleExperience working with young people in a residential, out-of-home-care, disability, or related trauma-informed settingAvailability for a rotating roster including sleepoversCertificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services, or related fieldTherapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training or similarWhat's on offer:$*****–$51 per hour + Super (SCHADS Level *******)Penalty rates for evening, weekend, and public holiday shiftsSalary packaging benefitsOngoing training and supervision supportCasual start, with part time hours available for the right experienced candidate
