This role requires a high level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage complex behaviours while maintaining a safe and nurturing workplace.You will be responsible for providing day-to-day care, implementing care plans, and supporting children with their developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young peopleSupport daily routines including personal care, meals, education,



and activitiesImplement individual care plans, behaviour support plans, and risk assessmentsManage challenging behaviours using approved strategies and de-escalation techniquesMaintain accurate documentation, incident reports, and progress notesWork collaboratively with families, case managers, and multidisciplinary teamsEnsure compliance with NDIS standards, Child Safety requirements, and organisational policiesRequirementsEssential RequirementsDemonstrated experience working with children or young people in residential care or similar settingsStrong understanding of trauma-informed care and behaviour managementCertificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or equivalent) – highly desirableCurrent Blue Card (Working with Children Check)NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
